Challah-making enjoyable was had by all ages at Congregation Beth Israel on April 12.

More than 100 grandparents, particular associates and their little ones attended the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s Special Friends & Little Hands Challah Bake at Congregation Beth Israel on Sunday, April 12. The occasion was a partnership between the Federation’s PJ Library program and Women’s Philanthropy division. It introduced collectively generations of households, associates and family members to attach by way of a day of shared custom and hands-on expertise.

Participants had been guided step-by-step as they discovered the artwork of challah braiding. They additionally loved a PJ Library story, photobooth and crafts to make challah boards and challah covers to convey dwelling for Shabbat.
