”Reel” Fun Adventures Solid Off at Bighorn Canyon This Summer season

Lovell, W.Y. — Bighorn National Recreation Area is launching its new “Reel” Fun Adventures program collection this summer time, providing hands-on fishing experiences for youth, households, and first-time anglers.

Supported by a National Park Foundation Jr. Ranger Angler Grant, this system offers free fishing clinics, tools, and academic actions designed to show the fundamentals of fishing, outside security, and accountable stewardship of native fisheries.

The packages are centered across the newly repurposed pond on the Visitor Center, which has transitioned from a mirrored image pond to a group fishing pond in partnership with Wyoming Game and Fish. The 2026 season will function a pilot yr to guage fish habitat and group use.
