SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Six Shippensburg University student-athletes have been chosen to the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-District ® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team, an award that acknowledges the nation’s prime student-athletes for his or her mixed efficiency in athletics and teachers.
 
The Raiders who have been acknowledged for the 2025-26 educational yr are senior Emily Calamia, sophomore Shaela Kruskie, junior Ashley Laukus, senior Madison Malcolm, junior Ellie Manyara and senior Ava Whysong.
 
Calamia is now a two-time Academic All-District ® honoree. It is the primary Academic All-District ® honor for Kruskie, Laukus, Malcolm, Manyara and Whysong.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District ® consideration, student-athletes should be not less than a sophomore academically and athletically and should be enrolled at their establishment on the time of nomination both as undergraduates or graduate college students.
 
Academically, an undergraduate student-athlete should have not less than a 3.50 cumulative grade level common (on a 4.0 scale). A graduate student-athlete should have not less than a 3.50 cumulative grade level common (on a 4.0 scale) as each an undergraduate and a graduate pupil except they’re of their first semester as a graduate pupil and haven’t got a longtime graduate GPA.
