The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) are alerting weekend vacationers to plan forward and permit additional journey time as a consequence of upcoming work related to the State/Lake Station Reconstruction Project.

During the weekends of July 18–20 and July 25–27, work would require non permanent service reroutes on the Loop Elevated and the non permanent closure of the next CTA Stations:

• Adams/Wabash

During these two weekends, solely the Green, Brown and Orange Line trains will function by way of the Wells and Van Buren aspect branches of the Loop Elevated. Traffic Impacts
