Swim and Dive Packages Unveil 2026-27 Schedule

DETROIT — The Wayne State University swimming and diving groups and Thirtieth-year head coach Sean Peters have introduced the schedule for the 2026-27 marketing campaign.

“I absolutely love our schedule next year, as we face against some of the best programs in Michigan, as well as having many invitational opportunities for our athletes to face off against great athletes from numerous strong programs,” stated head coach Sean Peters.  “I am excited to match up against Division I, II and III opponents, as we look to work towards our February GLIAC meet in Holland, Michigan, and our March Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Let’s do this!”

The squads will start aggressive motion on the Davenport Invitational on Oct. 9-10, adopted by the Eastern (Michigan) Classic on Oct. 16-17.  After the applications’ annual Alumni Meet on Oct. 23, the Warriors will host a tri-meet on Nov. 6-7 contained in the Matthaei Natatorium towards the likes of Northern Michigan, Findlay and Lake Superior State.

Moving into the ultimate month of the calendar yr, December 2-5 will see the Warriors journey to Rochester for Oakland’s Golden Grizzly Classic.  That occasion shall be adopted up by 4 straight twin meets, all of which is able to happen in January of 2027.  That quartet contains at Grand Valley State on Jan. 9, house towards Davenport on Jan. 22, house vs. Oakland on Jan. 23, and residential towards Calvin on Jan. 29 for Senior Day.
