Small canine lacking for weeks rescued whereas swimming in San Francisco Bay | San Francisco

Firefighters rescued a small canine that had been lacking for weeks after discovering it swimming into the San Francisco Bay.

The canine had gone lacking over the Fourth of July weekend, in response to the Menlo Park hearth safety district. But somebody referred to as 911 on 16 July to say they’d seen a canine enter the bay close to the Dumbarton Bridge in East Palo Alto.

The canine “just kept swimming”, in response to a Menlo Park fire district Instagram post.

The Menlo Park hearth safety district mobilized no less than two vehicles, a ship and an airboat in pursuit of the canine. Rescuers first put eyes on it from the bottom with binoculars. Later, they used a drone whereas pursuing it from the water.

The division later launched footage of the canine rescue on social media.

Both hearth and cops assisted with saving the lacking canine, which was photographed getting toweled off by a team of tattooed firefighters.

Authorities later turned over to the native Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), which positioned the pup’s household and returned it.

“Dog and family have been reunited,” the Menlo Park hearth safety district’s Instagram publish reads.
