Six captive belugas from Canada at the moment are swimming within the waters of their new properties within the United States.
Marineland and a consortium of U.S. aquariums helped transfer the primary batch of whales in an extended, advanced course of that started Monday afternoon on the closed Niagara Falls, Ont., vacationer attraction.
Marineland’s exterior authorized counsel, Andrew Burns, says the transfer went higher than anticipated, with no main hiccups lifting the whales out of their swimming pools and putting them in tanks on transport vans, and no points in a two-hour convoy journey to the airport.

A spokesman for the U.S. consortium, Johnny Ford of the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, says 4 whales arrived there within the early hours of Tuesday morning and are doing effectively.
He says two different belugas went on to SeaWorld in San Antonio and ended up in these swimming pools later Tuesday morning.
Marineland has mentioned it’s operating out of cash and might now not look after the whales and is within the technique of an unprecedented transfer to get 24 extra belugas and 4 dolphins out of the park.
