The Fun Station shares plans for its first out of doors attraction

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – What’s thought of “Iowa’s largest indoor adventure park” is venturing exterior for its subsequent attraction.

The Fun Station on Wednesday shared plans for Swan Pedal Boats, set to open within the subsequent few weeks at its Cedar Rapids location.

The boats will sail on the property’s 1.5-acre pond.

Families may also discover a redesigned out of doors patio space and feed the fish on a boardwalk overlooking the pond, in keeping with a press launch.

The announcement is a part of a multi-year growth plan, in keeping with chain proprietor Edwards Entertainment Company.

“Last year, we opened Iowa’s Largest Indoor Adventure Park, and we’re just getting started,” stated President and CEO Nick Edwards. “This is the first step in a much larger vision that will continue to transform The Fun Station into a destination unlike anything else in the region.”

The 70,000 sq. foot journey park options over 22 attractions together with slides, a zipper line, an arcade, climbing partitions, a ropes course, bumper automobiles, mini bowling, glow mini golf, a play maze, trampoline sights and laser tag.

“The Swan Pedal Boats are just a very small part of our overall vision for expanding the outdoor experience. We have some incredible ideas planned, and we’re excited to continue investing in Cedar Rapids and giving families new reasons to visit year after year,” Edwards stated.

The 20-minute swan journey can match as much as 5 folks. The rides can be $6 per rider, or $4 for members.
