An updated coastal flood advisory was released by the NWS San Diego CA on Monday at 2:31 a.m. valid from 6 p.m. until Wednesday 11 p.m. for San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal.

“Minor coastal flooding expected during the evening high tides,” says the NWS. “High tides of 7.2 to 7.5 will peak each evening between 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m. due to astronomical high tides.”

“Flooding of low-lying parking lots, parks, and roads,” adds the NWS. “If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.”
