My spotlight of the primary Global Impact Summit – sharing the story of the partnership between Halfcut, GreenPay and Ben & Jerry’s, alongside Jimmy HALFCUT and Glenn Bartlett on stage on the iconic State Theatre. But that was solely the start.
After our presentation, the vibe within the room was excessive, as contributors, the lighting man and the volunteers all loved a scrumptious Ben & Jerry’s – nothing beats the enjoyment of (free) ice cream!
Add in dialog after dialog with individuals from throughout the nation, enterprise, charity and affect neighborhood, and it is easy to see why the times flew by.
An enormous thanks to Mike Gore and Jocelyn Goto for bringing us all collectively, and to Waldo Sainvilus for internet hosting us at Walsh Bay on Thursday. I did not make it to as many classes as I’d deliberate – solely as a result of there have been too many attention-grabbing, inspiring, passionate individuals to talk to!
My largest takeaway: hope. So many companies, charities and individuals are working towards a greater future, and the urge for food for collaboration is actual.
