he University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host its annual Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden Fest & Fun Run on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden, 914 Bennoch Road in Old Town. The occasion is free and open to the general public, with a rain date of Sunday, Sept. 13.
A rainbow-themed enjoyable run for youth ages 12 and youthful will start at 11 a.m. Children can arrive early to create a wand or banner to hold in the course of the run and take house as a souvenir.
