So it's kind of funny, but I think it's just as important because people are looking at us, you know? People are like, 'Oh, who are these people? Like, what are they doing?' It just draws more attention and that's what we want, you know, positive attention to the city," Arvizu stated.One photograph at a time, they're hoping individuals begin to see these areas with totally different views."I think for us really, it's about focusing on the communities that have often been left out conversations" or have been underserved and underrepresented," said ,Diana Morales of the SELA Arts Foundation.They've also had a historian on one of the photo walks, even a poet.
