Georgetown, Waccamaw college students win pictures contest

Jalee Rogers of Georgetown Center Faculty and Sarah Weathers of Waccamaw Center Faculty have been every chosen as first place winners within the Georgetown Soil And Water Conservation District pictures contest. The annual contest was open to all seventh-grade college students in Georgetown County.

Jalee claimed first prize in three separate classes: Timber and Crops, Rural Life, and Native Wildlife.

Sarah took high honors within the Landscapes class.

Each winners acquired a certificates and a money award for his or her pictures.
