It may be robust deciding what to put on on a giant date, so when it occurred to single dad Jeff Saville, he requested his teenage daughter for trend recommendation.
Now the 56-year-old has been requested out on dozens of dates, after the photographs of him modelling shirts for a date he was stood up on, have been shared.
Jeff, a father to 4 daughters in Friendswood, Texas, has been single for 3 years. He informed the BBC he was not sure which shirt to put on for the romantic liaison final weekend, so he sought his 19-year-old daughter Carli’s recommendation.
“I was trying to pick a shirt and couldn’t decide which one to go for. Carli is pretty good with fashion so I texted her. But she asked me to send her a selfie” he says.
Carli says her dad did not know the best way to take a mirror selfie, so she needed to inform him how.
“I told him to go for the white one in the end because I didn’t like the blue on blue combo too much.”
Jeff admits that though the opinion of his daughters issues a terrific deal to him he did not really take Carli’s recommendation on the shirt.
“Funny thing is I didn’t pick either of those shirts in the end, I went for a completely different one.”
However the excellent date outfit was sadly wasted. Jeff went to the restaurant for his date and shortly realised he had been stood up.
“My date lastly replied to my texts and calls saying she was sorry, and that she simply needed to be my pal.
“Clearly, I used to be dissatisfied. Relationship is tough however all of us face rejection in our lives and you must simply stick with it and hope the appropriate particular person might be introduced into your life,” he says.
What Jeff did not realise was that whereas he was being stood up, he was getting numerous consideration on social media.
“He is twitter’s single dad now, protect him at all costs” read one tweet.

Another commented: “Not to be dramatic or anything but I’d die for him!! He’s so precious.”
Others tweeted footage of comparable conversations they’d had with their dads making an attempt to select date outfits.
Some even supplied up their single mums to go on a date with Jeff.
Jeff says the response has been pleasantly stunning.
“When Carli told me that she had posted the pictures to Twitter and it had gone viral, I said you’re kidding me!”
Now Jeff has received his personal Twitter account so he can try to reply to all of the messages and date requests he has obtained.
“I have to figure out how to use Twitter and I am busy with work, but I am hopeful I will find love and I will treasure the day that happens,” he says
