What Did Critics Consider the Mary Poppins Revival within the West Finish?


Opinions are in for the brand new staging of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Waterproof coat’s Mary Poppins, which opened November 13 within the musical’s authentic West Finish house, the Prince Edward Theatre.

Zizi Strallen stars because the title nanny, having beforehand led a world tour; starring reverse her is Charlie Stemp (Howdy, Dolly!) as Bert. The manufacturing is helmed by Richard Eyre, with co-direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne.

Mary Poppins initially opened within the West Finish 14 years in the past. The brand new manufacturing options co-choreography by Stephen Mear, set and costume designs by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, and orchestrations by William David Brohn.
