“There’s an incredibly subtle detail in the LPU that really made me do a double-take. There is a PCB inside that is the “Laser Scattering Detector” meeting. It comprises six photodiodes which are used along with the calibration normal to offer suggestions on the laser. The PCB isn’t flat – it’s ever so barely curved.
