GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina University women’s golf team continues its fall campaign on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Badger Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin. The three-day event will be held at the par-72, 6,248-yard University Ridge Golf Course and will be the Pirates first time competing in the event. 

 
The Pirates are coming off an 18th-place finish at the Cougar Classic where they posted a 52-over par 904 score in 54 holes played. Oda Sofie Kilsti tied for 45th to lead the team, including a 2-under par performance in the first round.
 
Head coach CC Buford will field a lineup of Kilsti, Danielle Modder, Andrea Miralles Llopis, Marta Perez and Macie Burcham.  
 
Tee times begin at 9 a.m. with the Pirates starting at 9:30 a.m. on hole 10.

ECU and host Wisconsin will be joined by nine other teams in Washington State, Iowa, Notre Dame, Old Dominion, Indiana, Rutgers, North Florida, Delaware and UC Davis.
