TEMPE, Ariz. — Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray said Wednesday that he has “no hard feelings” toward the person who hit him in the face while Murray was celebrating his team’s 29-23 overtime win Sunday over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Murray said he didn’t feel like he got attacked when he was amid a slew of fans in field-side seats.

“No, this stuff happens fast,” Murray said. “I know every person I’ve hit in the face, I did it for a reason. I don’t know if he probably didn’t know where he was. I don’t know. It was a pretty live game. Vegas is Vegas. I’m sure he was having fun.”

However, Murray also said he doesn’t think any player should be touched “in that manner.”

Video of the altercation showed Murray celebrating with fans along the wall that separates the field and the field-level box. Fans were hugging and grabbing at Murray, and then a hand comes across his face. Murray responded by confronting the person who touched him and had some words for him.

Las Vegas police were investigating a battery complaint that was filed Sunday evening.

“No hard feelings toward the guy,” Murray said Wednesday. “If I seen him, I’d shake his hand, but it is what it is.”

Murray said he’s not going to stay away from field-side celebrations.

“I’d do it all over again if I could,” he said.
