The township’s second annual food truck festival rolls into town on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Central Park.

The event will feature more than 15 different food trucks, brews from the Crooked Eye Brewery, more than 20 craft vendors, a disc jockey, a caricaturist, the Bucks County Free Library’s Bookmobile and plenty of fun and family games.

“It’s going to be a true community event. You can come out and enjoy the park and have some great food. There’s going to be some amazing beer there,” said Lisa Pearsall, the township’s parks and recreation program manager. “And new this year we’re adding a craft village. It’s going to be super awesome this year.”

The event takes place from noon to 6 p.m. at the park located at 425 Wells Road. There is no admission fee.

At the heart of the event will be a variety of different food trucks serving a mouth-watering banquet of food.

“We have everything from Moshava, which is Israeli-inspired food, to Thai food, to all American burgers, hot dogs and fries to a brand new company, Salty Vets, which offers comfort food, like barbecue and macaroni and cheese, and is owned and operated by local veterans,” said Pearsall.
