GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women’s golf team is set to host the Pirate Collegiate Classic at the par-71, 6,227-yard Greenville Country Club Oct. 10-11.

ECU has claimed each of the five previous Pirate Collegiate Classic titles since the annual fall tournament was relocated to the Greenville Country Club in 2016. The tournament was not contested in 2018 due to weather or 2020 due to the global pandemic.

The two-day, 54-hole event will include ECU along with The Citadel, Marshall, Tennessee Tech, UNC Greensboro, Georgetown, Stetson, Nova Southeastern, Seton Hall, Towson, High Point and Queens University of Charlotte.

Head coach CC Buford will field a lineup of freshman Danielle Modder, senior Oda Sofie Kilsti, sophomores Marta Perez and Andrea Miralles Llopis and senior Caroline Hermes. Sophomore Grayson Warren will compete as an individual.

The Pirates are coming off a 19-over par 859 outing at the Evie Odom Invitational that resulted in a tie for sixth place. Modder tied for eighth to earn her first collegiate top-10 finish and Kilsti placed 10th to record her seventh career top-10 finish.

Teams will tee off from 9 to 9:45 a.m. and fans can get live scoring and updates throughout the tournament by visiting Golfstat.com.
