MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Navy water polo team (9-9, 4-3 MAWPC) split a pair of games on the final day of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Crossover Weekend on Sunday afternoon at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. We were able to win two games yesterday and came up just short in sudden-death overtime today from sweeping all four games. We still have things that we can improve on and we will continue to get better as we make the final push of the regular season.”

Jake Altmayer (Pasadena, Calif.) led the way with five goals, while Michael Heller (Menlo Park, Calif.) finished with four scores. The Mids open the weekend on Saturday, Oct. 15 in Emmitsburg, Md. for a game against Mount St. Mary’s (7:00 p.m.).
