Dream, a 23-year-old gamer, who rose to fame during Covid-19 pandemic for how he plays MinecraftMicrosoft’s computer game – met his fans at Twitch’s annual convention last week. The player showed his face for the first time to more than 50 million fans across the internet. He is a celebrity who seemingly has mastered the art of playing one of the best-selling games of all time.

Dream, who’s real name is Clay, streams the game on Twitch. He provides solutions to obstacles and even alters the game’s code to make engaging videos. His videos have received over 20 million views. In 2020, he became YouTube’s top “breakout” star, earning 12.5 million subscribers. At the time of writing this report, he has 30.9 million YouTube subscribers, which he garnered anonymously over the years.

In an interview to Bloomberg, Dream claimed that she feels like he has “done everything you can possibly do in that game.” He says that he quit his job at Apple and spent his days in front of his computer creating videos and playing games.

When you take that big of a pool, there’s going to be a portion,” he told Bloomberg.
