Venue: Brighton High School, 7878 Brighton Rd. Brighton, MI 48116. 12 Lane pool SCY featuring 8 lanes for competition and 3 for continuous warm-up. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead complies with and is documented according to USMS articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.

COMPETITION START TIME:

8:00 am – Event 1 – 1650 yd, limited to the first 16 entries received.

9:30 am – Event 2-17
CONTINUOUS WARM-UP AND WARM-DOWN LANES: Lanes #10, #11, and #12 will be accessible for continuous warm-up and cool down during the event.
TIMING SYSTEM: The main timing system will be automatic. Times recorded from this meet will qualify for USMS records and Top 10 consideration but not for world records.

RULES AND ELIGIBILITY: The current USMS regulations will apply to the meet. All competitors must be 18 years of age or older as of the final day of the competition and must be currently registered members of U.S. Masters Swimming. International swimmers must demonstrate proof of current membership from their nation’s Master Swimming governing body. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead meets compliance and is documented with USMS according to articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. The main timing system will be automated, employing a sound device at the start and a swimmer touching the pad at the conclusion, with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Official times generated from this automated timing system will be forwarded for USMS Records and USMS Top Ten times for all courses.
AGE DETERMINATION DATE: A swimmer’s age for this event is established by their age on February 9, 2025.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Online submissions are $40. Online registration will close on Friday 2/7/25 at 12:00 PM. On-site entries (day of event) are $45 and will close at 9:00 am.
ENTRY LIMITS: Participants may compete in a maximum of 5 individual events. Only online entries will be accepted for the 1650, which will be limited to the first 16 registrants.
DAY OF MEET ENTRY INFORMATION: Registration on the day of the meet will be $45. Please bring a copy of your 2025 USMS card to the event. Deck registration will close at 9:00 am, no exceptions.
SEEDING METHOD – Seeding will occur from slow to fast based on time (ignoring age or gender) for all events except the 1650 yd, 500 yd, and the 1000 yd Freestyle, which will be seeded from fast to slow.
LOCATION OF HEAT SHEETS: Heat sheets will be displayed on the four walls surrounding the pool deck during the meet.
LOCATION OF RESULTS: Results will be displayed on the north wall of the pool deck close to the entrance during and immediately following the meet.
CONCESSION INFORMATION: A selection of meet snacks, fruits, and beverages will be available from FAST in the hospitality area.
