Sabrina Quraishi and her now-spouse Jason Gonzalez expressed how excited they were to plan their ideal destination wedding in the Dominican Republic.

Approximately a month prior to their significant day, they informed News 12 that the hotel had notified them that none of the $45,000 contributed by their family for the trip had been forwarded to the resort. The couple had utilized Crafty Getaways for arranging their wedding travel.

Sage Biamonte from Miller Place also enlisted this travel service for her honeymoon to St. Lucia. Upon seeing Sabrina’s post in a Long Island Brides Facebook group, she instantly felt anxious about the $10,000 she had given to Crafty Getaways.

Biamonte mentioned, “I conducted some personal inquiries and discovered they hadn’t allocated any funds towards our honeymoon.”

After visiting the agency, now known as Luxe Travel Society, in person, Biamonte successfully retrieved her complete $10,000.

Quraishi states that she has yet to receive any reimbursement and has lodged a police report.

Crafty Getaways issued the following statement:

“These baseless accusations originate from a former employee who intentionally initiated a coordinated effort to undermine the agency, which included triggering inappropriate chargebacks. The ex-employee is enlisting other clients to collectively harm the business’s reputation. They are now purposefully using agencies to provide false information that investigations have proven to be groundless. Crafty will pursue legal action against these individuals and will bring them to court.”
