The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will convene on Jan. 8 at the Community United Methodist Church, situated at 434 Lewis St.
The gathering begins at 6:30 p.m., but you are welcome to arrive earlier to mingle and discuss photography at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate. Simply enter the church through the side entrance adjacent to the parking area.
This month’s presenter is David Lenderman, who will deliver a comprehensive talk. He will commence with a brief slideshow accompanied by music featuring some of his favorite images. Afterwards, he will discuss the significance of depth in photography. He will demonstrate techniques to transform flat photographs into more captivating and compelling visuals. Lenderman will impart practical compositional strategies that anyone can implement to enhance depth in their own photographs, regardless of the camera they possess.
The concluding segment of Lenderman’s presentation will focus on an AI music generator. With AI music applications, crafting your own music becomes effortless. As visual creators, we frequently require the ideal soundtrack for our slideshows or videos, and now you have the opportunity to create it yourself. Lenderman will elucidate how to operate the music generator and present examples of the music that can be generated.
Lenderman has been a passionate photographer for more than 25 years, concentrating on underwater, travel, and wildlife photography. He has traversed six of the seven continents in search of stunning landscapes and intriguing creatures. In 2022, Lenderman and his spouse relocated to Pagosa Springs to revel in the natural splendor of Colorado and the welcoming community. He frequently addresses photography and diving clubs, taking pleasure in sharing his expertise and motivating fellow photographers.
Did you receive a new camera or lens for Christmas? If that’s the case, joining the Photography Club would be an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge about photography and gain insights on utilizing your equipment.
