Effective January 1, 2025, the University of Louisville will implement a new umbrella insurance policy furnished by Zurich American Insurance Company. This updated policy aims to simplify coverage for all qualified individuals within our campus community and remove the necessity for individual sign-ups to acquire insurance protection.
Implications for You:
- Automatic Enrollment: Beginning January 1, 2025, you will be automatically enrolled under the Zurich policy and receive your identification card once you commit to a study abroad program.
- No Need to Upload Proof of Insurance to Terra Dotta. Instead, you can download your insurance card during the Post-Decision phase of Terra Dotta.
