Both teams secured a home triumph over Red Lion on Thursday night in Hanover; the boys dominated 144-39, while the girls achieved victory at 136-48. Each South Western team won all 12 events, improving their overall record to 5-0 and beginning division competition with a 1-0 record.
The boys’ team was spearheaded by a trio of senior swimmers, each winning two individual races. Sean Filipovits secured the 200 IM (2:07.11) and 100 butterfly (53.35); Spencer Wineholt clinched the 200 free (2:00.90) and 100 free (52.70); while Owen Cromer took home victories in both the 50 free (22.25) and 500 free (5:07.24).
