Following a series of notable blunders and cancelled initiatives, including a terminated Spotify podcast and an animated series on Netflix, Meghan Markle has introduced her latest project: a lifestyle reality program set to premiere on Netflix.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has provided a sneak peek of her new lifestyle series, which will be launching on Netflix shortly.

In the recently released teaser, glimpses of Markle baking, conversing with friends, and gathering honey in California, where she resides with her husband Prince Harry and their two kids, can be seen.

“I’m planning to share some little tips and tricks… and how you can integrate these practices into your daily routine,” Meghan states in the preview.

The anticipated show is described as a tribute to “the pleasures of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and camaraderie.” It will include discussions with guests like Mindy Kaling and Markle’s previous Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, featuring practical advice and lifestyle insights.

This represents Markle’s latest partnership with Netflix following the notable 2020 deal she and Prince Harry entered into. Among their initial projects was Pearl, an animated series announced in 2021, intended to center around a 12-year-old girl influenced by eminent women throughout history. However, the project was cancelled in 2022 after Netflix announced a loss of 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter, drastically missing their projected increase of 2.5 million.

Their most recognized Netflix release so far is Harry & Meghan, a 2022 docuseries focusing on the lives of the Sussexes. While it attracted significant attention, the series garnered mixed reactions from viewers and critics alike.

Besides Netflix, Meghan’s other media engagements encompass an investment in Clevr Blends, a coffee brand based in California, as well as a Spotify podcast titled Archetypes. This series sought to explore stereotypes that impede women’s progress, featuring prominent guests such as Serena Williams and Mariah Carey. Despite an initial wave of excitement and winning the top podcast award at the People’s Choice Award, the podcast was concluded after just one 12-episode season in 2023.

As Meghan gets ready to re-enter the public sphere, many are eager to observe if this new venture will be more lasting than her earlier projects.
