TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — — Mark Sears netted 22 points and registered 10 assists, as No. 5 Alabama showcased dominance in every aspect for a 107-79 triumph over No. 12 and previously undefeated Oklahoma on Saturday evening during the Southeastern Conference opener for both squads.

Grant Nelson contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds, Labaron Philon scored 16, and Clifford Omoruyi added 10 for Alabama (12-2, 1-0).

Jalon Moore led the Sooners (13-1, 0-1) with 20 points, while Sam Godwin scored 15. Jeremiah Fears rebounded from an 0-for-8 shooting performance in the first half to finish with 16 points. Kobe Elvis and Miles Duke each chipped in 10.
