NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE COUNTY BOARD OF ARLINGTON CO., VA, will convene an urgent meeting on TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2025, AT 2:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as feasible, via a Virtual Meeting, replacing the Organizational Meeting planned for Monday, January 6, 2025, due to bad weather conditions. The Arlington County Board will conduct its Organizational Meeting and will act on the following issues:  election of Chairman and Vice Chairman; adoption of 2025 Meeting Schedule, Meeting Procedures, including Annual Budget and Tax Rate(s) hearings, as well as Tie Breaker Resolution; appointments to regional bodies and various groups; Chairman’s Address; comments by Board Members; and concluding matters.

The public is invited to participate in the virtual meeting through live streaming at www.arlingtonva.us, and local cable channels on Comcast 25 & 1073 and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40.
