LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The UNLV women’s swimming squad achieved victories over Cal Baptist and UC Santa Barbara, while the men’s team also triumphed against CBU in their respective double duals over the weekend at the Lancer Aquatics Center.

In the women’s success, the Scarlet & Gray triumphed over the Lancers, 147-50, and UCSB, 104-97. Conversely, the men’s team saw victory over CBU, 140-91 but encountered defeat against the Gauchos’ men, 134-97.

Throughout the meet, the Rebel women secured six individual wins and amassed 19 top-3 finishes. For the men, the Scarlet & Gray celebrated three individual victories along with 14 top-3 finishes.

THE SUMMARY – WOMEN:

– In a 1-2-3 finish in the 700 free, senior Gina Miller came in first (7:09.13), while junior Hannah Jones (7:20.07) and junior Ashley Hughes (7:25.59) took second and third positions, respectively.
