Since 2006, Opera Naples has invited world-renowned artists to our city to perform.
Artistic and Music Director Ramón Tebar is excited to guide yet another vibrant season—one that encompasses a strengthening alliance with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation.
This month, three distinct and noteworthy events are scheduled prior to regular musical performances. Nicoletta Pavarotti, president of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation, will lead a roundtable discussion at the Wang Opera Center in Naples on January 12 to convey her vision for enhancing the foundation’s influence within the Naples community. Upcoming opera talents will convene in Naples to engage in the Opera Naples Academy, concluding with a presentation of the comedic classic Don Pasquale on January 17 and January 19 at the Wang Opera Center. Additionally, from January 16-18, gifted vocalists from around the globe will vie for contracts with premier opera houses in the International Voice Competition at the Bower School of Music & the Arts on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
Nicoletta Pavarotti remarked, “There is no finer way to honor Luciano than with a season focused on nurturing the next generation of budding singers.”
