Join fellow members in celebrating the exhibition launch of Storyteller: The Photography of Jerry Jacka. This exhibition honors the legacy and creations of Jerry Jacka through a selection from around 133,000 photographs generously donated to the Heard Museum by his family. It showcases his acclaimed photography displayed in Arizona Highways Magazine and his intimate portraits of American Indian artists in their creative processes. These images are accompanied by works of the artists’ jewelry, pottery, Katsina dolls, baskets, and paintings from the Heard Museum’s collection.
