Since its introduction in 2022, the ROG Flow Z13 has set the standard for power and portability within gaming tablets. However, for 2025, ROG has enhanced the category, courtesy of a completely new and extraordinarily powerful chiplet processor from AMD, the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395. This desktop–class CPU also incorporates remarkably robust RDNA 3.5 graphical cores, providing gaming performance that rivals that of Radeon™ 8060S graphics, boasting outstanding energy efficiency. Furthermore, dedicated NPU cores enable the Flow Z13 to serve as a competent AI PC, with a total of 50 TOPS of combined NPU computational strength, enhancing the Copilot+ experience.. 

To accommodate the substantial power in such a compact frame, the Flow Z13 includes high-end power–delivery components, featuring 14 power phases and Japanese capacitors. The processor of the Flow Z13 employs a unified quad-channel memory framework, allowing the complete system to utilize a shared pool of up to 128GB of ultra-fast–speed LPDDR5X-8000 RAM across both the CPU and GPU cores dynamically. Consequently, whether gamers are immersed in the latest titles, editing videos, or simply navigating the internet, the unified memory architecture dynamically manages the load.  

The 2025 Flow Z13 showcases a newly designed vapor chamber, constructed from a blend of stainless steel and copper, providing 54% greater coverage of the mainboard than its predecessors. This design maintains a slim profile while ensuring strength, all the while delivering exceptional cooling efficiency. Additionally, the Flow Z13 features re-engineered airflow from the pair of 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans™, directing a small volume to a specially designed channel behind the touchscreen to maintain cooler skin temperatures during use.  

An exquisite 2.5K 180Hz ROG Nebula Display marks the highlight of the Flow Z13, featuring 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and achieving 500 nits of peak brightness. The device also possesses strong I/O options, with a 200W charging port, a dedicated HDMI port, along with dual USB-A and dual USB-C® ports, both of which are compatible with USB4®.

Two variations are available, offering either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. To achieve a flawless single-cable setup that enhances an already existing gaming laptop’s capabilities, players should search no more.
