LOS ANGELES – Redshirt senior Paige Bueckers and freshman Sarah Strong from the UConn women’s basketball team were recognized in the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 list, as disclosed by the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Tuesday.
Bueckers is leading the Huskies with an average of 19.9 points per game and a total of 60 assists. This season, she has had nine performances where she scored at least 20 points.
