“November Thrills: Lake Tahoe Casinos Rake In $14.4M Jackpot!”

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming license holders have reported a total “gaming win” of $1,316,462,271 for November, according to the latest monthly report from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. This represents a 4.21 percent decline compared to the same month last year when license holders reported a gaming win of $1,374,357,540. For the fiscal year, the gaming win has dropped by 2.85 percent, totaling $6,385,889,170 in “win”.

The “gaming win” signifies the calculated revenue of casinos before operating expenses and taxes.

For the south shore of Lake Tahoe, the “win” revenue amounted to $14,417,193 in November, marking a 20.30 percent decrease from November 2023’s $18,089,918. In terms of the fiscal year, the win revenue is down by 4.29 percent compared to the previous year when the “win” stood at $119,418,262.

Numerous other regions in the state also experienced double-digit drops in “win” during the month. On the south shore, table games contributed $3,986,000 and slots yielded $10,431,000.

Casinos in the Carson Valley region recorded a gaming win of $11,372,680, reflecting an increase of 2.72 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,785,262 was up by 8.86 percent.

Gaming-related revenue in Reno, Sparks, and other parts of Washoe County decreased collectively by 5.99 percent over the past year, totaling a “win” of $76,064,042.

Las Vegas/Clark County casinos achieved a “win” of $1,163,467,948, showing a decline of 4.23 percent compared to the same month last year.

For the fiscal year, the State of Nevada has gathered $489,387,581 in percentage fees.
