NORMAL, Ill.– The Illinois State Swim Team wrapped up a victorious Senior Day against Quincy on Saturday, achieving triumph in 12 of 14 competitions for a final score of 174-80 against the Hawks.
Out of the 12 victories, four Redbird seniors, namely Lauren Wisdom, Emma Feltzer, Sydney Hoff, and Mia Snow, contributed to six of them. In the relay events, the team featuring Chloe Tyler, Hoff, Snow, and Feltzer led the 200-yard Medley Relay with a notable time of 1:46.21.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Hoff, Wisdom, Ella Glaspie, and Lauren Hervey secured the second relay championship of the day, finishing with a time of 1:38.50.
INDIVIDUAL EVENT VICTORIES-

Wisdom triumphed in two events: the 1000-yard freestyle (10:55.24) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:22.17).

The Redbirds are set to head to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to compete against Missouri Valley Conference rival UNI in a two-day meet on Jan 17 and Jan 18. The competition will kick off with diving at 5 p.m. and continue Saturday at 11 a.m. at Glen F. Henry Pool.
