The latest design primarily resembles a high-end DIY gaming PC, showcasing an attractive interior, a well-considered layout, and effective cable management. All components are standard and modifiable, with the entirely black, stealthy motherboard appearing particularly impressive.

This variant was equipped with all the features and specifications, yet when it becomes available for purchase later in the first quarter of this year, the Alienware Area 51 desktop will be presented with a variety of hardware configurations. This will feature the latest Ryzen 9000 and Intel 200 processors, along with Nvidia RTX 50-series graphics cards.

HP Omen 16L

This is the smallest gaming PC HP has ever produced, but it can still include some potent hardware, like an Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti or an AMD RX 7600. While these may not be the RTX 5090, they are sufficiently capable for high-frame-rate, 1080p gaming in most titles. They are also compact enough to fit within such a small design, keeping this chassis lightweight and portable — it could serve as an excellent LAN machine.

If you prefer a more energy-efficient setup, or desire a professional-grade system within this PC, there are also possibilities for APU processors without a GPU, although this significantly compromises gaming performance.

The boldest and most striking gaming PC designs at CES undoubtedly belong to Maingear’s new Apex series of gaming

PCs. These reinforced-glass, encompassing enclosures would appear stunning if they concentrated solely on the components with exquisite hardline water cooling, striking distro plates featuring distinctive patterns, and some of the finest RGB illumination available beyond a DIY enthusiast’s setup.

However, these computers are not merely packed with visually appealing and high-performance equipment — they also showcase exquisite sticker art. This imparts them with an authentic boutique gaming PC ambiance, and yet these will be available as pre-assembled units, for you and any other buyer. That may potentially pave the way for a greater number of gamers and PC aficionados to experience a stunning hardline water loop without all the hassle. Well, most of the hassle. While Maingear constructs it for you, upkeep will be your responsibility.

The components inside will vary from the more modest to the extremes of the latest generations of CPUs and GPUs, each managed by its own tailored water loop. This kind of setup is typically found only at the back of custom PC manufacturers’ catalogs, reserved for the most discerning of gamers. But Maingear is bringing that level of design to the general market in stunning style.

There is no confirmed launch date or pricing for these yet, but anticipate them to be quite pricey. Just observe those nickel-plated fittings. They’re not inexpensive.

Hyte has taken a different approach with its PCs. Along with embracing its cute aesthetic, it presents a collection of new cases that feature a massive touchscreen on the front. These are utilized in various builds to showcase different appearances with various types of hardware. They can play videos or show essential system details — this functionality has been part of Hyte’s Q80 CPU cooler for some time, but now it’s expanding into larger case designs as well.

It’s not only about appearance, though, as these displays can manage media tasks, open applications, or provide news and updates on a separate, easily accessible screen.

Additionally, a new custom distro plate is integrated into these Y70 enclosures for even greater customizable water cooling.
