Apple Arcade commences 2025 with 10 new games, featuring PGA TOUR Pro Golf

Apple Arcade is starting the new year with an exhilarating lineup of game releases, alongside significant updates to existing favorites. Today, seven new titles are accessible, all free from advertisements or in-app purchases, including Skate City: New York, the premier skateboarding adventure showcasing legendary, real-life skate locations; Gears & Goo for Apple Vision Pro, melding elements of tower defense and classic base-building games with the interactive capabilities of spatial computing; and Three Kingdoms HEROES, the newest installment in Koei Tecmo’s acclaimed Romance of the Three Kingdoms series.

Today’s releases also encompass award-winning titles from the App Store, including FINAL FANTASY+, a remastered 2D rendition of the original game in the acclaimed series; Trials of Mana+, the mobile adaptation of SQUARE ENIX’s popular console action RPG; the Wild West adventure Rodeo Stampede+; and the relaxing zen experience It’s Literally Just Mowing+.

On 6 February, Apple Arcade’s inaugural officially licensed PGA TOUR game will be introduced with the launch of PGA TOUR Pro Golf. This game adds to an expanding collection of entertaining, competitive sports games that enthusiasts can enjoy with family and friends, including NFL Retro Bowl ’25, NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, Football Manager 2024 Touch, Ballistic Baseball, CHARRUA SOCCER and more.

In addition to PGA TOUR Pro Golf, the adventure platformer Doodle Jump 2+ and charming farming simulator My Dear Farm+ will be available on 6 February.

In this charming farming simulator, players will design and personalize their ideal farm, demonstrating their potential to become excellent farmers. Players have the option to fully customize their character, from looks and hairstyle to the selection of a pet, as they build their farming empire one harvest at a time.

Apple Arcade also presents significant updates for popular titles within the service, including WHAT THE CAR?, Game Room, and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

• Hello Kitty Island Adventure by Sunblink and Sanrio: Running from 10 January to 24 February, the Luck & Lanterns event invites the Year of the Snake and commemorates the Lunar New Year with lucky envelopes and firecrackers, along with festive new outfits and decorations.

• Game Room by Resolution Games: On 16 January, Game Room will introduce a new hidden word game, Word Wright, to its collection of cherished classic games — all playable across Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad.

• WHAT THE CAR? by Triband: Today, WHAT THE CAR? reminisces about 2024 and showcases the top 25 community levels of the year.

Updates are also on the way this month for NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, Outlanders 2: Second Nature, Wheel of Fortune Daily, Snake.io+, Ridiculous Fishing EX and more.
