CUNYAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Swimmer of the Week
Hailey-Madison Quiller, Hunter

Quiller played a pivotal role in achieving victories over two conference rivals, John Jay and Brooklyn College, for the Hawks last week. In a tri-meet against John Jay and USMMA to kick off the week, Quiller recorded a formidable 2:44.70 in the 200-yard backstroke, earning third position and led the 200-yard medley relay team, which secured third place with a finishing time of 2:15.59. In the competition against Brooklyn, she triumphed in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28:56 and excelled in the 100-yard butterfly with a leading time of 1:14.36. Furthermore, she anchored Hunter’s 200-yard freestyle relay team to a top finish with a total time of 2:00.57.

 

CUNYAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week

Sua Cho, Hunter

Beginning with a tri-meet against John Jay and USMMA, Cho swam the 50-yard free in 35:04 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:30.36. Two days later, in a conference dual meet against Brooklyn, she improved her 50-yard freestyle performance to 35:77 and clocked 1:16.79 in the 100-yard freestyle.
