Epic Showdown: Top Women’s Swimming & Diving Faces Off Against No. 4 Tampa in West Palm Beach

After a month away from competition, No. 1 Keiser women’s swimming & diving will return to the pool on Friday afternoon when they compete against Division II, No. 4 Tampa. The first event at the Lake Lytal Aquatic Center is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

• Friday marks the first home event for KU this season
• Tampa has triumphed in each of the eight meetings between the two squads
• Last year, the Spartans overcame the Seahawks 192-51 in Tampa, Fla.
• The last occasion Keiser was in the pool, they were breaking records at the Zippy Invitational in Akron, Ohio
• Three school records were surpassed at the event, including NAIA national records in the 400 medley relay and the 100 breast
• Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen was involved in all three records, improving her own times in the 100 breast and 200 breast while swimming the second leg of the 400 medley relay
• In total, the women established 17 new marks on the Keiser top-10 records
