11 losses in a row in arcane mode… all 3 caps down to zero.
getting one-shot by a moving tank without having the opportunity to aim
being eliminated in spawn by an aircraft
unable to reveal even a small pixel of your tank without being destroyed
This game epitomizes insanity
… I’m going to grind AFK and watch TV at this stage…

Don’t play to grind
Play to learn the art of combat

I’ve surrendered. I utilize a PS5, and this game is evidently not designed for consoles. I can’t discover anything to grasp when you can’t even leave the spawn … I’ll just attempt to reach some tank I wish to try, then Bye! Bye! War Thunder. I’m just relieved I haven’t invested any money on it. At the very least, I would have learned that ;P

Aircraft in SB EC, not tanks but.
“I desire to learn X principle of flying/dogfighting and attain consistency in it.”
and
“I want to learn Y aircraft and gain proficiency in it.”
Key term: Consistency.
Not merely good. Being successful is fragile, relative, and relies on the lobby and aircraft. You can feel like an ace in one lobby, only to discover your opponents have each played for merely 30 hours and then have your ego crushed in the next lobby by individuals with thousands of hours.
If I begin practicing X technique/maneuver/adopting X principle to an extent that feels more consistent than prior to my focus on it, I feel satisfied with my improvement.
Or if it seems like aircraft Y has “clicked” and I’m no longer battling the beast but collaborating.

Identify a mode you enjoy even amidst losses 🙂
Seriously though – explore a bit to discover a mode/vehicle combination where the gameplay is fun – then the grind becomes insignificant.
It simply takes too long to aim on consoles to be competitive and survive more than a minute in battle. At least in tank battles. Aircraft are more welcoming to consoles but still fall short. My primary aim when engaging in a game is to have fun above all else. This game isn’t enjoyable for novice players. We are just far too behind.
Perhaps if Gaijin provided a “same device only” option, I would be willing to give it another chance, but for now.
P.S. 17 matches, 1 win, all steamrolled. So yeah, it’s just NOT FUN.

Engage in War Thunder to enjoy yourself. That’s all there is to say. Also, utilizing consoles isn’t problematic as long as you possess a headset.

Probably contending with
It’s a game, engage for enjoyment, learn; the most significant aspect of this entire game is learning and adapting to evolving technology, as well as skills. I wouldn’t classify myself as a “great player” by stats (If assisted kills were visible, I’d appear to be a god, probably) but I’m level 100, have progressed through 2 Air trees, 1 ground tree, and initiating another ground tree (USA). It required time to grasp the game and its peculiar interface along with mechanics, but with patience and commitment, you can pick it up quite swiftly, I didn’t fully begin to excel…

on it until I reached around Lvl 40 and purchased my first premium along with several other items in my timeline.
