Diamond Takes the Helm Again as Chairman of Gaming Oversight

HARRISBURG – Representative Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) has announced his assignment to two House panels for the 2025-26 Legislative Session, including his reinstatement as Republican chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee.

The leadership of the House of Representatives has once more appointed Diamond to the Gaming position and included him as a member of the State Government Committee.

“The surge of skill games functioning as video gaming terminals in convenience stores, fraternal organizations, and bars continues to be a significant concern for Gaming Oversight. I’m keen to address that matter and revise the Small Games of Chance statute to assist clubs and fire organizations,” Diamond stated. “I’m also thankful to return to the State Government Committee, where I can contribute to shaping any modifications to election regulations.”

Diamond, who has served six terms, was also designated as the House Republican Caucus’ representative on the Joint State Government Commission’s Election Law Advisory Board.
