SIOUX CITY, I.A. – The University of Minnesota Morris men’s swimming & diving squad visited Morningside College for their concluding meet prior to the Liberal Arts Championship taking place from Feb. 12-15 in Racine, Wis. The Cougars were defeated with a score of 53-148 against their rivals, securing only one first-place finish during the day.

Minnesota Morris initiated the scoring promptly, with team ‘A’ acquiring second place in the 200 yard medley relay. The quartet of Austin Dunn, Dillon Thorstad, Riley McRoberts, and Josh Miller achieved a cumulative time of 1:46.65 in the event. John Gulon continued the momentum with a second-place finish in the 200 yard freestyle, clocking in at 1:49.99. Dunn claimed another second-place result, this time in the 200 yard IM, posting a time of 2:11.65.
