CANTON, Ga. – As the SAA swimming & diving regular season draws to a close, all six conference teams competed in the pool this past weekend.
Rhodes traveled to Sewanee and secured a 220-66 victory over the Tigers. Centre split a home dual meet, triumphing against Transylvania while losing to Cumberlands. Hendrix overcame University of the Ozarks 164-41 on the Warriors’ Senior Day. Berry suffered defeats to Emory and SCAD, and Millsaps lost to Centenary while on the road.
The 2025 SAA Swimming & Diving Championship is scheduled for February 12-15 at Centre’s Champion Hall in Danville, Kentucky.

SWIMMER: Ben Anderson | Millsaps | Junior | Estes Park, Colo. – delivered an impressive performance at Centenary College on Friday. Anderson clinched first place in both the 50-yard freestyle (22.76) and 100-yard freestyle (50.05). He was the runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.37) and assisted the 200-yard medley relay to a second-place finish (1:49.28).
DIVER: Avery Balch | Centre | Senior | Hartselle, Ala. – achieved victory for the Centre men against Transylvania and Cumberlands. He dominated the diving events with two NCAA qualifying scores, which he had previously secured earlier in the season. The three-meter dive (six dives) was won with a score of 309.95, while the one-meter (six dives) was captured with a tally of 318.80.
