Ninong Ry Takes a Cheeky Jab at His Gordon Ramsay Moment!

Ninong Ry certainly excels at making light of himself!

On Facebook, the culinary creator shared highlights from his participation in Gordon Ramsay’s private event in Manila. Ninong Ry was one of the competitors in the “Masterchef”-themed segment, where they were challenged to create their own interpretations of Halo-Halo.

“Ninong Ry binigyan ng Diabetes si Gordon Ramsay hahahhaha,” he remarked in his post.

In footage shared by attendees, Ninong Ry presented Gordon with a basic Halo-Halo, though it lacked the fruits.

“Wow, that is really sweet,” Gordon expressed after sampling.

“I can sense my arteries clogging up,” the famed chef humorously commented.

Ninong Ry replied, “That’s exactly how it’s intended to be.” .

“I came here to launch a restaurant, not to undergo a heart bypass,” Gordon further noted.

Chef Ramsay made his trip to Manila this January. The renowned chef was treated to a Beef Wellington lumpia by Lumpia Queen Abi Marquez. He also teamed up with Niana Guerrero and Ranz Kyle for a dance video.

Gordon’s inaugural restaurant in the Philippines, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, is set to open in 2024 at the Grand Wing of Newport World Resorts.

Gordon Ramsay is the mastermind behind multiple Michelin-starred establishments, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in the UK and Le Pressoir d’Argent in Bordeaux. He has launched restaurants across the globe, including in Singapore, UAE, and Japan.
