COLUMBIA, Mo. – Two athletes from the University of Missouri’s swimming and diving team have been recognized with Southeastern Conference weekly honors, as Collier Dyer received the title of SEC Men’s Diver of the Week and Luke Nebrich was acknowledged as SEC Men’s Freshman of the Week, according to the league office’s announcement on Tuesday.

Nebrich has excelled for the Tigers during his inaugural season, regularly finishing on the podium. A native of Lexington, North Carolina, he triumphed in three events during MU’s double-dual victory over McKendree and Missouri State this past weekend. Nebrich clinched the men’s 50 free with a time of 19.79, the men’s 100 free with a time of 43.36, and played a role in Mizzou’s men’s 200 medley relay victory (1:25.47).

Dyer, hailing from Littleton, Colorado, dominated the men’s diving events over the weekend, continuing his impressive streak as a junior All-American. Dyer achieved first place in the men’s 1-meter diving event with a score of 380.10 and secured the men’s 3-meter diving title with a mark of 404.48.

This accolade adds to Dyer’s collection of honors, including an SEC Men’s Co-Diver of the Week title on October 29. He attained Second-Team All-American status last spring, finishing 10th in the men’s 1-meter at the 2024 NCAA Championships. Additionally, Dyer earned a second-place finish in the platform dive (397.00) at the 2024 SEC Championships and participated in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials last June.
