  • Evan Yoo played a crucial role in assisting Cal Poly achieve its inaugural undefeated dual meet season in program history, achieving first-place finishes in all events to secure The Big West’s Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week accolade. This marks the first instance in which a student-athlete has earned the award in back-to-back weeks, as Yoo has attained this honor for the third time this season (Oct. 8, Jan. 14).

  • For the third consecutive week, Yoo triumphed in every event he participated in. The Sherman Oaks, California native recorded a time of 52.79 seconds in the 100 Breast. The junior broke the program record in this event by surpassing it by .15 seconds.

  • Moreover, Yoo secured victory in the 200 Breast (1:54.61), finishing just over half a second short of the program record, swimming over six seconds faster than the next closest competitor, and capped the day with a win in the 200 IM (1:47.01).
