Rumel Chosen for USA Volleyball’s U23 Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Lauren Rumel – a senior exterior hitter – has been chosen for USA Volleyball’s U23 Team forward of the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Pan American Cup.

 

The Tucson, Ariz., product will take part for Team USA in Leon, Mexico from July 27-August 1.

Rumel secured her spot on the staff this previous week whereas attending a coaching block in Anaheim, California. Back in February, the senior exterior hitter competed at their open tryout in Colorado Springs, Colo.

She has been an important member within the offense all through her time as a Beaver, main Oregon State in aces and among the many greatest in recording kills. Very reliable as effectively, Rumel has began in each match for Oregon State during the last two seasons. Following the 2024 season, she was named to the All-District Team by Collegiate Sports Communicators for her work within the classroom alongside being named to the WCC’s All-Conference staff.
