Fred Roberts IV Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar

NORMAN, Okla. – For the third 12 months in a row, a High Point University males’s golfer has been named a 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, which was introduced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday afternoon. 

Fred Roberts IV earns his second Cobalt Golf Division I All-America Scholar accolade and his fourth after being named a Division III All-America Scholar twice.

A local of Richmond Hill, Ga., Roberts IV graduated from Piedmont University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus of Data Analytics, whereas incomes his Master of Business Administration from HPU.

It marks the third consecutive 12 months two Panthers have earned this prestigious award with Roberts IV becoming a member of Grady Newton as 2024-2025 All-America Scholars.

A complete of 549 Division I males’s golfers from 188 faculties have been named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars.

To be nominated, a student-athlete have to be a sophomore, junior, or senior each academically and athletically; take part in 50% of their workforce’s aggressive rounds, have a stroke common below 76.0, and keep a minimal cumulative profession grade-point common of three.2.
